About Us

 Jitter Paws is a brand new Coffee Cart experience, we don’t just sell premium coffee drinks and treats for people, we also sell handcrafted dog treats made from locally sourced ingredients like Maui Venison. Dogs go nuts for our grain free treats which are available in Venison and Lamb. Pet owners love the nutritional content as carrots, fish oil, ginger, and coconut flour are some of our other ingredients. Between our premium coffee and fresh baked treats, we deliver smiles for all.

Founder Julie Povroznik: Originally from West Virginia, Julie enlisted in the United States Air Force at the age of 18. She served honorably as an Avionics Specialist aboard a C-130 Aircraft, the U.S. Military’s versatile work horse aircraft. She served in Arkansas, Japan, & Hawaii and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (E5) before being medically retired after eight years. 

Her favorite job by far is being a mother. She spends her free time with her only son and her three dogs. Together they travel the island enjoying all it has to offer. It’s not uncommon to find them hiking in search of waterfalls or the breathtaking panoramic views Hawaii is known for. When they’re not high atop a mountain they can be found on the sandy shores of their favorite beaches, probably enjoying the sunset as they wind down from a long day.

Mark A. Matthews: Originally from Virginia, Mark enlisted as a Combat Medic in the Army after serving his community as a Firefighter/EMT and a 911 Dispatcher. During his career he was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan for a combined total of 23 months. After serving honorably for 14 years and reaching the rank of Sergeant First Class (E7), Mark was medically retired. Mark has been on Oahu since 2016.
